Southern Coney*
The least expensive breakfast on Hilton Head Island. If you’re from the Northeast or Midwest there’s a Coney diner in every mall but on Hilton Head Island there’s only one. Open 7-2:30 seven days a week (Sunday 7-2) they serve all the usual suspects for breakfast and then some. For more visit Southern Coney here>>>

Harold’s Diner*
Harold’s is not for the thin skinned. In fact, be prepared to be insulted if you don’t pay attention. Of course, it’s all for show and brings a smile to everyone’s face, even the one being singled out. This is a throwback to small diners of America where short orders were the norm and cooked in front of you. Don’t be fooled by the small size because their portions are large so bring your appetite. Palmetto Dunes General Store*
Who would think you could get a great breakfast at a general store. But then again this is Hilton Head Island. Located in the heart of Palmetto Dunes and an island staple since 1979 they serve everything from traditional Southern breakfast to the best cinnamon rolls you could imagine. You may even meet a celebrity or two as this is one of the favorite spots. For more visit the Palmetto Dunes General Store here>>>

Skillets Cafe & Grill*
More than just a breakfast spot Skillets serves meals all day long. But, their breakfasts are what sets them apart. Located in the islands first plaza, Coligny Plaza, Skillets has been starting peoples day off right for years. If you’re not sure what to order, get the Bananas Foster. It’s one of the best you will ever have (just don’t try to do much after because you won’t be able to move very fast). For more visit Skillets Cafe here>>>

Sunrise Cafe*
Located at the Palmetto Bay Marina is the Sunrise Cafe. It’s become such a favorite it’s nearly doubled in size the past 5 years. Open seven days a week, even the earliest riser can get breakfast (open 6-2 M-F and 6-3 St, Sn). Not only that but you can get breakfast all day. If you haven’t seen or heard of it before that’s because like most top spots on Hilton Head Island it doesn’t sit on a main thoroughfare. It’s tucked away at a marina and that’s just the way they like it. For more visit Sunrise Cafe here>>>
